Craft Partners acts as the head of an umbrella collection of sub-brands within the food and beverage industry. With a strong strategic backbone and a collection of current food, condiment and beverage products already on the market, they have now turned to the development and release of their own vodka brands. Craft Partners is cleverly put together in a way that will allow them to release numerous linked products and brands under the CP umbrella whilst still allowing each and every brother and sister sub-brand to take on its own detailed and individual personality.

Contacted by Craft Partners with aspirations of releasing 3 new individual vodka brands separately into the lower, mid and higher more premium levels of the market proved to be a very exciting and challenging contract that resulted in a trio of uniquely branded vodka personalities coming to life in order to be respectively slotted into their spot within the Craft Partners family.

Privately contracting to Craft Partners as their freelance designer and singular driving creative force for this extensive project involved me working closely with the director and head management on each product, personality and brand being proposed for release into the market. In-depth conceptual branding and design work along with creative and skilful image creation requiring extensive knowledge of the adobe creative suite was needed in order to bring all the conceptual imagery for these products to life even prior to release. Each brand/product required its own individual logo, branding suites, conceptual imagery, promotional and sales collateral, to create a standout identity in order for them to work effectively alone and as part of the Craft Partners family.

BANG BANG VODKA

Bang Bang was the name provided for the design and development of the low-range vodka option to be aimed at a slightly younger demographic and consumer. The brief for this particular product outlined the use of a gun in conjunction with the name in order to create an identity. Bang Bang is an all Australian vodka and its inspiration is drawn from its notorious outlaws of the past. Doing this allows for this product to be attached to the admiration of this cultures old school outback gun slinging outlaws and their secrets of vodka distilling that have been carried down through the ages. Bang Bang is a custom glass shape with a unique gun cut-out conceptualised within the middle of the bottle; Its visuals representative of a certain quality that will only come with age and wisdom.

AUSTRALIAN DISTILLERY VODKA

The Australian Distillery was proposed as the mid range option to be branded and designed. The Australian Distillery was another big brand requiring a strong presence and personality. The brief for this particular product was more open and less restrictive in visual prerequisites, however it was essential for this brand to mature into a strong, polished and capable product that would be able to compete in the national market. The Australian Distillery is a sleek, polished and modernised take on a sincere & traditionally hearty style. The use of earthy colours matched with bursts of a rustic yet classy gold and contemporary glass printing effects ensures a level of quality in design and branding to push this product quickly into the realms of market success.

BOMSHELL PRIVATE COLLECTION VODKA

Bomshell Private Collection Vodka is the premium option that will sit within the higher end of the market. The brief for this particular product outlined the use of a grenade bottle shape whilst maintaining a premium high quality look and identity. Drawing inspiration from the shape of a hand grenade and exploring similar geometric configurations lead to this custom, unique and extravagant geometric bottle design complete with double action top handles, attached metal vodka tag and a pull-to-open tab on the top. Bomshell vodka was rolled out into a full creative suite containing designs and pre-release conceptual imagery inclusive of bottle, can & packaging designs along with all branding, sales and collateral pieces. Bomshell Private Collection Vodka mixes the sex, passion and allure relative to a premium quality product such as this with an undeniably standout visual presence and brand personality.
